Text from the Grand Master’s Newsletter 4 March 2020
In accordance with the advice from Australia’s Chief Medical Officer and recognising the circumstances of the novel coronavirus – COVID-19 in this country at the moment, it is important that we take care of each other.
Please Brethren – regardless of Masonic etiquette and protocol, avoid hand shaking, kissing and any other form of unnecessary physical contact until this whole situation is resolved and we are advised otherwise.
A reminder – proper food handling and personal hygiene are also imperative during these uncertain times. Regular hand sanitising is also essential.
Brethren, we should at all times be responsible men and Masons.
